General Practice Updates

When is Mary Jo officially retiring?

Mary Jo will officially retire from clinical practice on December 23, 2026. Our absolute final day seeing patients and managing office operations will be Wednesday, December 23, 2026.

Why is she retiring now?

After 45 wonderful years in medicine, Mary Jo has decided to step away from clinical practice to enter her next chapter of life, spend time with family, and pursue personal passions. She is incredibly grateful for the trust you have placed in her as your partner in health.

Appointments, Labs, & Care Continuity

Can I schedule one final appointment before she retires?

Yes, she is seeing existing patients for follow-ups and final transition consultations through December 23, 2026. Because appointment availability is strictly limited and filling up quickly, please use our Online Booking Portal or email sarah@morristownintegrative.com as soon as possible to secure a spot.

What will happen to my prescriptions?

At your final visit, Mary Jo will write for several months of your required medications to hold you over. Since she will be fully retired and legally unable to authorize refills or pharmacy requests after December 23, establishing care with a new provider over the next couple of months is the best way to ensure continuous coverage.

What happens to my ongoing treatment plan or supplement regimen?

During your final visit, Mary Jo will provide a comprehensive transition summary detailing your maintenance protocol. If you do not have a final visit scheduled, we recommend checking your email inbox for your past after-visit summaries.

What should I do about pending or future lab orders?

All active lab orders must be completed and submitted to the laboratory prior to your last scheduled appointment with Mary Jo. This ensures that results return in time for her to review them with you before the practice closes. We cannot interpret or review any labs that return after your final visit or after December 23, 2026.

Can I still order medical-grade supplements through the practice?

Yes! Our online dispensary via Fullscript will remain active for your convenience. You can continue to access your recommended protocols and order products directly through our Fullscript Supplement Dispensary Link.

How can I find a certified provider if these options don't fit my needs?

If you look for a practitioner out-of-state or with a different insurance/billing model, you can use the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) Find a Practitioner Tool. This official registry allows you to search for certified practitioners by location, specialty, and clinical focus.

Medical Records & Privacy

How can I access my past medical records and lab results?

You already have direct access to the vast majority of your health information:

  • After-Visit Summaries: All of your personalized treatment plans and past summaries have been sent directly to your email following each appointment.

  • Lab Results: Routine and specialty diagnostic results from Labcorp or Quest Diagnostics can be viewed and downloaded directly through their respective patient portals at any time.

What if I need to request other specific records from my file?

If you require records that cannot be found in your email or lab portals, please contact us directly via email at sarah@morristownintegrative.com. We will gladly assist you in retrieving the necessary documentation for your files or your next provider.
